In addition to Radical Improv groups, I am also available for facilitating work groups, leading retreats, team building, etc.  If you want to improve intragroup communication and have fun doing it, I'd be happy to help.

Here is what one retreat participant said:

As a community representative and volunteer facilitator on KPFA Radio's programming committee, I was very pleased to have Liam work with us on a retreat and some follow-up facilitation work. In a contentious group with sharply different viewpoints and personalities, he was a calm and astute guiding prescence - helping us to develop better listening and communicating skills - and to model constructive group behavior. I'd highly recommend him to any organization looking to reduce conflict and increase morale, commitment and the energy to confront change and growth. He really did wonderful work in a difficult working environment.

Individuals and Couples

For the most part, Radical Improv is a group experience.  It helps to have an audience, and it helps to have a community.  However, the communication aspects of Radical Improv are valuable by themselves.  For that reason, I also offer coaching for individuals and couples who are interested in communicating more truthfully and powerfully, and in creating more intimacy in their lives.  The basic premise is that most problems in relationship come from a failure to fully communicate what is true.  My approach is fair, compassionate and playful.  If you're familiar with Radical Honesty or Non-Violent Communication then you have some idea of what to expect.

Focus on issues surrounding honesty, intimacy, relationships, and acquiring communication skills.  Clients are supported in confronting communication challenges.

Staying emotionally connected while exploring personal and shared truths.  Cut through the drama!  Spend more time having fun and less time processing the same old stuff.  I enjoy working with couples of all sexual orientations and relationship styles.

I see clients in my office in Berkeley, California.
